Welcome back, everybody! For our last Meet the Editors of this semseter, we’d like to introduce one of our prose editors and author of Jason’s Metal Library, Jason Ludtke! Jason is a Junior at Lewis University majoring in Business Administration. His free time is filled with various hobbies, as he likes to read, listen to music, go to concerts, play various video games, go on runs, and watch all kinds of tv shows and films. Some of his favorite writers include Christopher Paolini, Edgar Allan Poe, and J.R.R. Tolkien.

Who are you and what is your role at Jet Fuel Review?

Hi, my name is Jason and I am a Prose editor and Blogger.

What book might we find on your nightstand right now?

Currently I am reading Brave New World by Aldous Huxley and Dune by Frank Herbert

What might your personal library look like?

My bookcase is actually overflowing! Some of my favorites include:

All of J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings related works

The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini

The Daniel X series by James Patterson

Cirque Du Freak by Darren Shan

The Complete Cthulhu Mythos Tales by H.P. Lovecraft

Edgar Allan Poe’s Complete Tales & Poems

If you could “re make” a poorly written movie that was based on a book, what movie would it be?

Eragon. The movie was terrible! The only similarity between the movie and the book was the character names. Not even the characters in the film were the proper look/age of the characters in the book. I’d love to see the movie be redone and made into a proper adaptation of the book. The 4-book series would make for a great film series!

What piece of literature can you reread over and over again?

The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini is my favorite series of all time. I’ve reread them numerous times and am considering doing that again once I finish the Dune series.
