Molly Gustafson is a senior English-General Writing major and Theatre minor at Lewis University. She is originally from Morris, Illinois, but currently lives on the Lewis University campus. She discovered her love of writing and language through performance when she was just a little girl. An avid dancer, musician, and actor, she loves the power of art and expression. After college, she plans to pursue her artistic passions of theatre and writing in the Chicagoland area.

What book might we find on your nightstand right now?
On my nightstand, you would find The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien.
If you had the chance to co-write with one author, who would you choose? Why?
If I could co-write with one author, I would pick Sally Rooney because I love her unique approach to prose.
Describe your perfect reading atmosphere.
Perfect reading atmosphere: lots of blankets, lots of snacks, and instrumental music!
What might your personal library look like?
My personal library would feature lots of fiction, poetry, and plays. I would fill my shelves with horror and science fiction novels, as well as lots of contemporary fiction.
If you could “re-make” a poorly written movie that was based on a book, what movie would it be?
I would re-make Twilight, not because it would be good; because it would be fun.
What piece of literature can you reread over and over again?
I can re-read The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald over and over again!

I would pick Jo March from Little Women because I have loved her character since I first read the book when I was a kid.
