This week’s installment of Writing Advice took on the problem of showing rather than telling in your story. This can be one of the most challenging things that writers work on, and we hope that our advice post gave you some insight. This week’s Discussion Post talked about a new exclamation mark proposed by a photographer. It’s a pretty neat idea and we’d like your opinion! This week’s Poem from Slate was entitled History Lesson from Anh Hai, by Duy Doan. Lucas’ Film Corner was all about Melton Barker’s film The Kidnapper’s Foil this week. What’s the story behind this film? Check out Lucas’ post for more information! This week, Liz’s News of the Book returned with a discussion on the practice of writing and whether it’s any fun at all. Check out what Liz had to say in her post. And finally, the blog had a new addition this week in the form of Lauren’s Fictional Friday.
