Hello, everyone, and welcome to another installment of “Meet the Editors.” This week we feature Tina McKee, the Marketing and Development Editor for the Jet Fuel Review. Tina graduated from Lewis University in May 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Merchandising and a minor in Marketing. She is very passionate about booking events and working with bands and musicians.
Tina wanted us to spread the word about the Jet Fuel Review‘s OPEN MIC NIGHT in the Student Union at Lewis University in Romeoville, IL TONIGHT (November 15th) from 7 – 10 PM! So go check that out!

Who are you and what is your role in the Jet Fuel Review?
My name is Tina McKee and I am the Marketing & Development Editor.
What book might we find on your nightstand right now?
It’s Kind of a Funny Story by Ned Vizzini.
If you had the chance to co-write with one author, who would you choose? Why?
I would love to co-write with Nicholas Sparks because I love his outlook on life and love.
Describe your perfect reading atmosphere.
My perfect reading atmosphere is somewhere comfortable with good lighting and an alternative rock album playing in the background.
What might your personal library look like?
My personal library is pretty small. It contains novels that were required for various English classes and fiction novels that I acquired over time.
If you could “re-make” a poorly written movie that was based on a book, what movie would it be?
Personally, I cannot think of one. I like all of the movies based off the books I have read.
What piece of literature can you reread over and over again?
I am currently rereading It’s Kind of a Funny Story by Ned Vizzini, but other than that, it has been a while since I reread anything in my personal library.

If you were invited to have coffee with any fictional character, who would you most like to meet? Why?
I would love to have coffee with Eli Goldsworthy from Degrassi: The Next Generation and talk about our favorite bands, films that he is working on, NYU, and the musical that he directed in Season 12 – Romeo and Jules.
