Hello, blog readers! I hope that you’ve all been having a good January and that the winter weather hasn’t been too harsh wherever you’re living. This week, we have a round-up of some recent posts that have been featured here on the blog. But first, a reminder: the 8th issue of the Jet Fuel Review is available now for your reading pleasure! The Jet Fuel editors worked very had to put together this latest issue last semester. If you’re looking for some new and interesting poetry, fiction, or non-fiction to read, be sure to check out this latest issue.
Over the past few weeks, we’ve had a few Writing Advice posts on different topics. As the year began, I discussed making the time to write as a part of your new year’s resolutions. I also talked about learning to love the process of writing even if you’re not being published. And, most recently, I talked about the concept of using keywords to keep yourself focused when working on writing projects.
As usual, all of those advice posts had corresponding discussions that you can still take place in if you’re interested. You can add your thoughts and comments to the topic of writing-related new year’s resolutions, the mindset that you’re in for your current project, and the focus of whatever you’re working on at the moment.
Of course, we’ve also been featuring new poems each week here on the blog. In recent weeks, we have featured Recess and the Speed of Sound by Debra Nystrom, A Month of Sundays by Kathleen Hellen, and Particular Falls by Pattiann Rogers.
I hope you’ve enjoyed our posts here at the blog, and I hope you stick around for more!
