Hello Readers and welcome back!
Today we are going to talk about Cinder by Marissa Meyer. Cinder has a hard life, she is half-cyborg from an accident she experienced as a child and her adopted mother hates her. Living in a futuristic world that is being destroyed by a plague and is constantly being threatened by ruthless lunar people from space, Cinder is just trying to survive.
As a talented mechanic, Cinder works at the town market and it is there that she meets Prince Kai. An attraction to the Prince is not a part of Cinder’s plan, especially because he would never be able to fall for a cyborg, right?
Everything is just starting to go right in Cinder’s life when her little sister catches the plague. Cinder’s adopted mother blames her for the illness and sends her to be a test subject to help find the cure, all but guaranteeing Cinder’s death, but mystery is surrounding Cinder when it is discovered that she is immune to the plague.
Mystery and romance mix in Cinder and has everyone wondering whether this Cinderella will even make it to the ball. I guess you will just have to read to find out. So happy reading everyone and see you back here next week.
