Hello, blog readers! This week was a bit of a quiet one, but we did have some great posts. Before we get started, I just wanted to remind you to check out the Jet Fuel Review’s Spring 2013 issue! The issue looks fantastic and we have featured such talented writers and artists. This year we’re offering a new way for you to read the Review — an eBook version. Now you can view the Review on your Kindle or other eReader. Be sure to check out the Jet Fuel Review’s Spring 2013 issue!

To begin with, we had a Writing Advice post covering all you need to know about writing when you’ve got a day job. It  can be difficult to get inspired or be creative after a full day of work. But I think we have some good tips if you’re interested in keeping writing in your life. Our Discussion Post this week covered the topic of comfort reads. If you can’t sleep one night or you’re not feeling well, what book do you turn to to make you feel better? Share your comfort reads in the comments!

In his Horror Blog this week, Mike covered the short story ”The Roaches,” by Thomas M. Disch. In her Fictional Friday post this week, Lauren talked about the Japanese art of manga. Managa is read by many people the world over and Lauren is clearly a big fan. She talks about some of her favorites – Naruto, Ouran High School Host Club, Fruits Basket and Death Note – in the post. Check it out! And to finish up the week, we posted the eighth installment in Linda’s serial story, “Sherlock Holmes: A Case of Identity and Zombies.” And to read the previous seven installments, click here.

We hope you enjoyed this week’s posts. Stay tuned for more, as always!
